Sujan Industries, a Maharashtra-based components manufacturer, on Friday said it has introduced a range of artificial intelligence (AI) and IoT-powered technologies at the 16th International Railway Equipment Exhibition (IREE 2025), aimed at improving safety, maintenance, and operational performance.
The company launched its Smart Wagon and Smart Coach platforms, along with pantograph monitoring and obstacle detection systems. These platforms provide real-time monitoring, predictive diagnostics, and data-driven insights for railway operations.

Partnerships and technology integration
Sujan Industries also highlighted ongoing collaborations with Transmission Dynamics and RailVision. The partnership with Transmission Dynamics focuses on pantograph condition monitoring, using data insights to detect anomalies in contact performance and mechanical wear, improving maintenance scheduling and operational reliability.
RailVision provides AI-powered analytics for obstacle detection to enhance situational awareness and system safety.
