Since the commencement of the casting foundry of Sujan Industries, we have acquired broad expertise in producing casting products for critical applications in the railway & other sectors.
Apart from the casting workshop, Sujan Industries is also equipped with teams of highly skilled professionals who have extensive knowledge in the foundry sector. They help us to execute the entire production process with precision, best performance, and quality. We follow the steps like molding and making of the core, melting and casting, demolding, shot-blasting, sleeves feeders cutting, heat treatment, fettling, machining, and both in-process & final inspection of the product.
Our molding shop is equipped with molding equipment where we have sand mixers for molding and core making. Also, there is a mechanical reclamation shop and 3 units of EOT cranes to strengthen the process at our foundry. The furnace used for melting and casting is powered with the vessels inholding melted materials of 1000 kgs and 500 kgs capacity.
Moreover, we administer methods like leap pouring and tea spout. For maintaining the utmost precision the temperature control furnace is powered with a duly regulated pyrometer. Then, to control the shot-blasting procedure the fettling shop at Sujan Industries has a hanger type KSBM that lets the shot-blasting machinery hold a volume of 300 kgs per lot.
We also have heat treatments, normalizing, annealing, tempering and solution annealing facilities for the smooth functioning of the process & get the best quality product. To perform this, the heat treatment plant at Sujan Industries has a gas-fired HT furnace with a holding capacity of 3 MT, rapid quenching facility with a holding ability of 30,000 liters.
All the heating systems are regulated as per the API 6A standard, whereas the gas-fired salt bath fireplace has the capacity of austempering 2.5 MP and tempering 1 MT. Sujan Industries executes turning, milling, drilling, and balancing operations for the internal machining shop which is powered with the best quality CNC machine, Drill machine, VMC machine, Lathe machine with the optimum volume.
The quality control team at Sujan Industries performs various assessment processes to ensure excellent quality products and services on the part of our foundry. As per the requirement of our clients like visual inspection, hardness, dimensional, and NDT testing, etc., we certify our products and deliver them to our clients. Also, the chemical testing procedure is carried out in the Shimadzu spectrometer machine which has 24 elements of Nitrogen channel.
We have premium samples for alloy steel and carbon steel from BAS. According to the desired application, the physical testing’s performed to meet the application requirements. The various testing’s strength, hardness, toughness, ductility, corrosion resistance, machinability, wear resistance, low temperature, high-temperature procedure, weldability etc.
